Dr. Amanda Shoemake received both her bachelor’s degree and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Auburn University.

Dr. Chris Jones received his Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science with a minor in Companion Animal Science at Rutgers University in New Jersey in 2015. He attended Ross University on the Caribbean island of St.

Erik is the hospital administrator of Haywood Animal Hospital, but his job encompasses so much more, including client relations manager, staff manager and overall handyman. Before his introduction into veterinary medicine in 2018, Erik had a wide array of life and job experience.

Ashley was born and raised in Hattiesburg, MS and has spent over a decade in the veterinary field—a career that truly chose her. Her lifelong passion for animals has grown into a calling, and helping pets while supporting their owners brings her immense joy every day.

Carissa was born and raised in Brevard, NC. She had a love for animals growing up and always knew she wanted to be a veterinary technician.

Andrea was born and raised in Asheville, NC. Being from the mountains, she loves waterfalls, the woods and especially the local nature center. She grew up with several animals as her grandmother raised show birds and her childhood homes were always filled with a variety of pets.

Ashley was born and raised in Hendersonville, NC. She has always had a huge love for all animals, and growing up always knew she wanted to work in the animal care field.

Born in the small town of Martinsville, Indiana, Autumn graduated from Indiana University-Purdue University of Indianapolis in 2014.
