Dr. Patricia Wilfert
DVM

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Patricia Wilfert attended vet school at the University of Florida. She grew up in the panhandle region of Florida, enjoying all that the beaches and ocean has to offer. Her first job as a veterinarian was in the Army, where she helped military working dogs and military families and pets.  Prior to moving to Hendersonville, Dr. Wilfert practiced in the Atlanta, GA area. She and her husband have been wanting to move to the mountains for years and are loving calling North Carolina home.

Dr. Wilfert practices all aspects of general medicine, dentistry and surgery. She also specializes in acupuncture. She loves seeing the fast responses to her acupuncture treatments and watching her patients feel better before her eyes. Dr. Wilfert also enjoys spending time with clients, educating them about proper medicine and preventative care.

When she’s not at the hospital caring for her patients, Dr. Wilfert enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and son. They really love kayaking and exploring the mountains. During her off time, Dr. Wilfert loves to design handmade jewelry that she sells locally. She has a tri-pod rescue cat, named Jellybean, who sometimes relaxes at the hospital with us.  In addition, she has a number of chickens that she loves to hang out with.
